WHO WE ARE
We are the Women in Business Council and we connect, empower, and educate women so that they may become respected leaders in business and the community.
Our council is open to all majors at the University of South Carolina.
WHAT WE DO
Our organization aims to help students develop and practice professional skills that are beneficial to their future careers. We hold bi-weekly meetings that feature a range of guest speakers from different companies who provide insight into their field and offer advice to members. New members are invited to become a part of our WIBternship program, which is composed of a series of workshops, a group interview, and a case competition at the end of the semester. Outside of meetings, there are plenty of social/networking opportunities to engage in!

Hi! I’m a senior majoring in Accounting and Operations & Supply Chain Management. I joined WIBC in my freshman year and have served on the executive team for three years. I am so grateful to serve as President this year! On campus, I’ve been involved in student government (23) and as a Teaching Assistant (23-24). Ella Underwood
Vice President
Hi everyone! My name is Ella Underwood, and I am the Vice President this year! Previously in WIBC, I served as the COO and Director of Membership. I am a senior Accounting major with a minor in psychology and a concentration in data analytics. On campus, I am also involved in Beta Alpha Psi and Accounting Scholars. In my free time, I love to exercise, read, bake, and spend time with friends. I am so excited for this semester and feel free to reach out with any questions!

Taylor Wolf
Hi! I'm a sophomore majoring in International Business, Accounting, and Finance, with a minor in Spanish. I joined WIBC my freshman year and previously served on the WIBternship and Outreach/Recruitment and Retention committees. Outside of WIBC, I am involved in Accounting Scholars, Beta Alpha Psi, and I also serve as the VP of Finance for my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. For fun, I enjoy playing on the Club Pickleball team, as well as running, listening to classical music, and trying new coffee shops around Columbia! Hi! My name is Shea Yeager, and I’m a junior from Washington, D.C. I’m double-majoring in Accounting and Management of Human Resources with a concentration in Data Analytics. I joined WIBC in my sophomore year and have loved every moment since! I am also involved with Beta Alpha Psi Honors Society and Tri Delta Sorority. In my free time, I love to get outside, travel, and try new things! I'm so excited to serve as your COO and I can’t wait to see what this semester holds!

Hello! My name is Jenny and I am from the Chicago Suburbs! I am a senior with majors in Economics and Finance and minors in Law & Society/Hospitality & Tourism Management. I am planning to pursue a career in law. This is my third year at WIBC, and I am looking forward to making more connections with new members. Outside of WIBC, I am a part of my sorority, Chi Omega, where I have served as the Alumni Relations Chair. I am also a part of the Order of Omega, and I work on campus as the Manager of Basketball for Campus Recreation.
